Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
DAI ( Development Alternatives Inc ) is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for a planned upcoming USAID-funded opportunity in Indonesia. The M&E Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the data collection system which facilitates timely reporting to USAID. The M&E Specialist will work with project staff to monitor and evaluate the qualitative and quantitative impact of activities and develop M&E tools to ensure quality control and effective reporting of results of all activities. Specifically, the M&E Specialist will be responsible for the following:
1. Development and maintenance of Performance Monitoring Plan with associated intake forms and reporting tools in order to efficiently and effectively monitor project impact against USAID indicators (in collaboration with project management);
2. Development and maintenance of Longitudinal Studies as tools for measuring project impact over time through a combination of written, photographic and possibly video case studies (in collaboration with technical staff);
3. Participatory monitoring and evaluation of technical field activities to measure quantitative as well as qualitative impact;
4. Training and capacity building of project staff in tools that support timely and efficient reporting.
Qualifications:
1. 3-5 years experience in monitoring and evaluation on donor-funded (preferably USAID) projects required
2. Proven ability to design and implement a monitoring and evaluation plan
3. Experience working with international donor agencies, especially USAID
4. Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written
5. Strong English writing and speaking skills required
6. Strong Bahasa Indonesian writing and speaking skills required
