Job Responsibilities:
- User Needs Analysis,
- Collect, Process, and Analyze Spatial Data and Information in Accordance to Costumer Needs,
- Collaborate with other staff on project design and implementation to include an effective spatial analysis and mapping component.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering or Geography from Reputable University with minimum GPA 2.8 on 4.00 grade scale,
- Minimum of 2 (two) years experience in related fields,
- Good Understanding of GIS and Remote Sensing,
- Good understanding of database management; familiarity with a range of computer office software,
- Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Series or other GIS Desktop product,
- Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Server or other GIS Server products like Map Server, OpenLayer, Geoserver, etc. is a plus,
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming is a plus,
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to explain complex concepts and tasks in understandable terms,
- A highly driven and motivated self starter with a strong commitment in achieving career, personal and organizational goal.

Qualifications:

• MBA/MS degree and 8+ years experience in conservation practice or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant experience working on knowledge management and/or networking initiatives either within or outside the conservation field and familiarity with current trends and practices in knowledge management.
• Experience working in the field in Indonesia and Melanesia preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Applied Conservation Learning Network Manager is a senior conservation position. S/he is responsible for oversight and implementation of The Nature Conservancy’s Asia Pacific Applied Conservation Learning Network. The purpose of the Applied Conservation Learning Network is to support The Nature Conservancy’s staff and partners as they work to foster sustainable, local conservation leadership at 12 sites in Melanesia and Indonesia. The Learning Network Manager will work with TNC staff who are implementing the transition of
conservation leadership at sites from TNC to local partners, to provide peer support, mentoring and training on the topics and skills that network members will need to succeed at this task. The Learning Network Manager will convene the Learning Network to provide peer learning opportunities, and will also work closely with individual site teams to
help them develop and meet their capacity-building and partnership goals

A consortium of conservation organizations in Indonesia is in progress to develop an Ecosystem Restoration Concession (ERC) in the Bukit Tigapuluh Ecosystem in Jambi and Riau Province. To manage the ERC, the consortium will establish a restoration company named PT. Restorasi Bukit 30 (PT. RB.30) as the means of this venture. The restoration company will manage the concession area on long term with the goals to develop a restoration program, protect important habitat for key species and provide home for indigenous people and further increase community livelihood in the area. To further develop the project we need an independent consultant to develop a business model for the PT. RB30.
